Common sense prevails

Don Mattrick on the Xbox One:

Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One.

He goes on to explain that the misguided policy on used games and the requirement to always be connected online have been reversed.  It will now behave the same as the Xbox 360.

The way Microsoft has responded is classy, and they’ve clearly listened to the mountains of feedback they’ve inevitably received (last night’s PS4 showing on Jimmy Fallon probably helped push them in the right direction).

The new Kinect? Still constantly watching and listening to you.
